Last week my doctor called me up and told me how bad I failed my 3-hour glucose test. He then said he was diagnosing me w/ gestational diabetes. This was my fourth test! So now I have to go see a dietician and get a glucometer so I test my blood sugar throughout the day.. YAY! I just hope this doesn't complicate my pregnancy or have to go on Insulin.

No more Mountain Dew, which sux cuz my heart belongs to Code Red.

I'm trying to kick the habit too and it's so hard. Too much sugar for my system to handle anymore. At least gestational diabetes usually goes away after delivery though, right?

First of all, CONGRATS on the baby!!!!!!!! I hope that it all turns out okay for you. I had some sugar problems when I was pregnant, but they went away after I had my son. He was born 6 weeks early and is perfect. If you have any questions or need to chat feel free to email me, k? Congrats again and hang in there!!!!

Thanx everyone.. so far I have it under control thanx to a meal plan that has been made for me.

The good thing, I only have 7 more weeks *or less* till my due date and after that it should go away.

My sister had Gestational Diabetes when she was pregnant.. It *usually* goes away, but be warned that it's not a guarantee.. Get ready for 7 weeks of hell, I know my sister was going out of her mind with the fucked up plan she had to abide by.
