I was merely pointing out that you don't live in a vaccum. Every decision you make affects other people in some way. In you example above.... smoking a whole ounce in one day is going to have a negative affect on your productivity the next day when you go back to work. Your co-workers would then have to make up your slack. I don't think they are going to like that much.

Now to find someone that can get over the fact that I've lived more of my life than them and that no matter what decisions I've made in the past it's still up to ME to decide whether they were wrong or not.

of course, that's not necessarily true... he may actually be more productive, who knows!? if he's used to doing that all the time and then doesn't, maybe then he'd be less productive!? all one can do is be true to themselves, while trying not to hurt others - ultimately, though, your decisions/actions are your own, and the judgement of whether they are good/bad are entirely yours as well, because everyone will have their own take on things. if i'm true to myself, and i'm happy with my decisions, (and haven't intentionally tried to hurt anyone) then i am living my life as i should, and at that point, yes, fuck everyone else, if they have issues with who i am and what i do.
