Love Notes

Throughout the years, Jon and I have taken turns leaving little notes for each other. Lately, Jon has been leaving me little illustrations. I had to share one with you.

Things to note: In the "Jon on Mon" panel, how much he looks like "The Man" in the first panel

In the Jon on Sun panel, Jon's wearing one of his Abercrombie shirts & using his Foredom engraving tool.

The cat on the right of me in my panel is Ray, who is always frowning.

In the bottom panel, That's Tiki having kittens. He forgot to leave off one of her front legs, so he just crossed it out.

Also note the kitten on the left is born with only 3 legs, even though Tiki lost hers in an accident, not due to a birth defect.

And he kinda just forgot to finish the one on the bottom left.

This is the kind of art he does when he's got 35 seconds left before going to work in the morning. You should see his sketches.

But I'll take my little stick figure notes anytime.

I love Love Notes. Shawn & I don't live together, so we can't leave actual notes laying about each other's houses, but here are a couple IMs we exchanged earlier (try not to get nauseous, folks):

Me:I don't write very much, but every now & then I get poetic diarrhea and you get something like this:

I will shower you in all my tears

My hurt, my pain, my joy, my love

I will smother you in my caresses

And give you that special smile

It's all for you, the reward

For my knight in gothy armour

He who rescued

This dark damsel in damsel in distress

From all the pain she brought upon herself

That was the most beautiful writing ive ever read.

Never did I think I would be able to be with such a sweet and loving woman. Why anyone else would treat you so bad is a crime. You are my beautiful love, who will be here for me and love me with all her heart. While you think I rescued you, the truth is you stopped my downward spiral to hell. I have never been as happy as I am now. Thank you for writing that...it brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye from its sheer beauty.

I love you Megan. I will be here for you always.

Aww so cute....I miss those days when love notes/drawings would be exchanged =( *sigh*

I think it is cool as hell you get Drawings........U 2 R 2 Cute......But dont change it makes me smile allot and gives me warm fuzzies. :grin

I will have days where I will write a bunch of random Love notes and go around and put them in places i even forget....... sock drawer, cd book, under the fish food, in random shoes etc....

He will find them at random times, normaly days even weeks after the intial writting.. I find that When i have the time and a Strong Love mood that if i do a little extra, and tuck them away, that often at time of stress,lack of time and such if he finds a note i wrote a month ago it still brings the mood up a bit and then a chain reaction happens and he makes me feel better etc........

He He i often put i love you notes in his lunch box too.... Just like moms would do to kids....."Honey i Love you so much and thank you for working so hard. Make sure you drink your milk, and wear your Hat and Gloves when you go outside" :innocent

That's just awesome. I don't get notes. I can't read Wayne's writing. He should have been a doctor. He leaves me little voice mails.

Me too Beenie. I used to put love poems in my mans lunch when we were first together. I ran out of ideas and felt it was hurting my song writing.

I am lucky to get a kiss goodbye these days he gets up an hour earlier and wants to make his own lunch now as he has gotten pickier in his old age.....

~Sigh~

Guess thats what happens when you have been together oh say 17 years and your getting old and your needs change.

We change with the times.

I leave notes for my hubby now and then. Not so much anymore though cuz I see him alot since I am unemployed and home.

He use to write me cute letters and give me cards with loving sayings and such in them when we were dating. It always made my day.

Laura and I have beenmarried for 19 years and she still gets notes taped to the bathroom mirror with pictures of me rubbin her butt....(with a big smile)
