there was a show condition daimler double six vanden plas on ebay for 4.5K lately.

the interior was all original, down to the decanter set and vanity mirror in the lift up section of the rear armrest (not that i condone drinking and driving, but thats just pure british elagence!)

I do like the way the Jag looks but living in a snow state, I find them somewhat . . . . an unreasonable winter car. It's my opinion that you'd need something else to drive during that time of year.

But yes, that restoration was very well done as well as that incredible paint job!

on a side note, saw a series 1 saloon today in nint cond. damn it was gorgous but lower fender/longer bumper looked odd
