Saephyr Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 :fear This is so funky! :erm I went to see Unchaste at her store in Canton. I was just hoping to find a bra that didn't rip my shoulders off or cut into my bodice right? My lil angel reminds me that " 80% of women are not wearing the correct bra size ya know? :whistling " So I have her fit me proper with one I liked and YES it will make an appearance at City Club That awful mini-me got me into a damned 44 DD ok!!! :woot: I went in there a happy 40D and I came out a gigan-TIT creature :doh Ok give up your fellow DGnr women...you don't know your REAL bra size do you? I bet not and if not...why are you not getting fit for the proper push up? GOOD GAWD just knowing this in my head has me paying very close attention to the eye contact factor now. It's kinda Thanks Unchaste from my tits and I
n0Mad Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 At one point in time I actually knew the proper way to size a bra. But like most knowledge you don't use, I forgot it. It's something like, measure around the body just under the boobs, and that's the # for the bra (44 in Saephyr's case). Then measure around the body including the boobs at their widest point. Subtract the first # from this number. What to do with the new # I can't remember though. Somehow it gets converted to a letter but rhinophant the process.
Homicidalheathen Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 What about those of us who have one tittie at least one half to a whole cup size smaller than the other? I hear this is quite common. It is the same way with my shoes. Only one fits. The other hurts like hell. Goddamn make a good bra America! I pay like 20 bucks for a bad fitting bra!
Rayne Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Ok give up your fellow DGnr women...you don't know your REAL bra size do you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I don't....but the ladies at Victoria's Secret do. I rely on them. :grin
Homicidalheathen Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 My sis goes to the Bobbette shop in Waterford. I hear it is the place to go if your well endowed in the chest but they are expensive.
Nienna Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Heh... Yeah. I used to fit bras at Lane Bryant back in the day. Women used to be shocked. Hell. I'M STILL shocked. I wear a 36 DD myself though it dosn't look it. All that boob and nothing to show for it... *cries*
FarrIL Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 It's odd. I remember my mom and I going shopping at Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw and as we passed by JC Penny, I remembered that I had a gift card in my wallet I never used. Well, I needed a new bra and we browsed around, hunting for a good one that fit. It all boilded down to this..... I proved Mother wrong YET AGAIN. (( She would always insist that I wore her shoe size..... she wears a 5, 5 1/2, I wear a 7 )) She swore I wore a 34A cup. I told her that I wore her 32B (( ya know, that Leopard print one? )) and I would always fall out of it, signaling it being a bit too small. We tried the 34A..... talk about squish-fest. I could barely breath in that thing!! We tried the 32B.... still too tight. 34B.... a wee less tight. 36B was too big. However, I find it odd that I own a strapless, 32C bra that I can support just fine. I'm confused. What exactly IS my bra size? ;_;
Nienna Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I'm confused. What exactly IS my bra size? ;_; <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It can vary with the bra too. Take ye Olde measuring tape. Measure around your ribs under your boobs snugly for the band size. I usually subtract an inch for skinny people and 2 for softer people because people squish and bras stretch. Then measure around the fullest part of the breast. The differesnce is the cup size. 1" is an A, 2" a B, etc.
saechalyn Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I got "fit" once in a department store and the bra they insisted was my size was so tight I could barely do the clasps. For me it all depends on the brand~ if you measure me I am exactly 39 inches, so 38 or 40 (DD, in case anyone is curious) depending on the style and brand.

I think I AM a C. OO; Okay, I need to measure me boobies when I get home tonight.
Shade Everdark Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I'm a 32 B in man-boobs. Um, you all probably didn't need to know that.
Brenda Starrr Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I'm a 32 B in man-boobs. Um, you all probably didn't need to know that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's just messed up, Shade.

Get on eof those new bras they have out with the pillows that inflate. You can make yourself even keel again! I got a bud who uses them for a size increase but this application would be more practical for you I suppose. Give it a try
unchaste Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 As Spook was saying, a true bra fit is a measure around where the band of your bra goes(this measurment is your band size, 36, 44, etc) then around the fullest part of your bust. The difference between the two numbers is the cup size. 1"= A 2"= B 3"= C 4"= D 5"= DD 6"= DDD 7"= F 8"= G These fits are not always 100% accurate, depending on the style and make of the bra. I am measured at a 44 F, but I manage to cram my tits into a DDD somehow. I usually always work Friday night, 5-9, so come & see me. My Lane Bryant is on the NW corner of Ford Rd. and Sheldon in Canton, right next to the Kohls.
FarrIL Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I'm a 32 B in man-boobs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HAHAHAHA!!! XD
n0Mad Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 As Spook was saying <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How is it I know more about sizing bras than most women and I don't even wear one? I can't even remember where I learned. It's just one of those random tidbits of information I picked up somewhere and it stuck with me ... well, for the most part at least. Another bra tidbit that's stuck with me is how to open the clasp simply by snapping my fingers. Now that's a fun one. At my best I could do it through a shirt and a sweater, but not a coat.

honeymustard02 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I was fitted not long ago and I was the exact size that I have been wearing all along
bean Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I went bra shopping few months ago and finally got fitted since I was going to blow a bunch of $ of sexy bras, figured I should buy the right size. My size: 46 F. Now I know why the girls kept popping out of DD bras! haha.
n0Mad Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Wow, can you teach my boyfriend that trick? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sure. If I end up going to CC on Saturday then I can have a bunch of gals line up in front of me and we can get plenty of practice. :grin
Saephyr Posted November 23, 2005 Author Posted November 23, 2005 Wow, can you teach my boyfriend that trick? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell I learbed that in the 80's from a lover I had.
