Raspberry brulle (raspberry thing with thin pastry as a crust, scorched sugar on top)

Chocolate mint cheesecake with Oreo cookie crust

Lemon tarts (normal thing)

Blueberry, anise and vanilla pizzelles (thin, fried cookies)

Icebox cookies

Strawberry, banana and chocolate cream pie with a vanilla cookie crust

Thank the gods I didn't have to cook turkey and dressing and mash 'tatos and all that too.

Forgot to mention the Maiden Tear cookies. I have no idea what they would actually be called 'cause I just sort of made them, impromtu-like, with the extra sugar I had.

Maiden Tear cookies. (Lady finger cookies dipped in various flavoured/coloured melted sugar and cooled)

Don't celebrate Thanksgiving....but we have LOTS of pie. :grin

They say consuming allot of these 'yellow' veggies this time of year helps keep you from getting sick in the long cold winter months ahead.

I cannot remember what it was in them........

Mother nature must know what she is doing. Pumpkins, squash.....they come in season early fall for a reason I am thinking. And don't go bad easy.

When i read the topic "desert menu" i thought to myself, 'what is this? like desserts shaped like pyramids?'

i had to read the post all the way down to the tarts before i realised it wasnt a 'desert' menu, it was 'dessert' but with a typo!

this probably wouldnt have been funny to me on a normal day, but ive been awake for 2 days straight and im not sober, so it was hilarious to me. i managed to completely confuse myself.

My usual dessert is a cig after a meal.

I didn't make dessert this year. Mom does all that. I did make a bunch of ginger snap cookies that rocked the house. Along with some of those Bird Nests or Haystacks thingys. Oh yeah, and some rice crispy treats. Nothing spectacular but everyoned loved them.

I'll make a butt load of cookies near christmas time.
