Thanks, Daevion, for the clove. It was... interesting. But I liked it better before it was lit. After a few experimental drags, I passed it on to someone who could really appreciate it. I will remain happily smoke-free, thank you very much. :grin

Hey, is it our imagination, or are they pumping the volume kinda high these days? And isn't it kinda treble-y? Getting annoying, as I've never had a problem conversing with people out by the bar before. Said a full paragraph to someone before I realized she couldn't hear a thing.

Oh, and another thing. We've bought Long Island's from Marvin and others before, and they were always $6.00. Jon went to get one for Bean very near last call, and Marvin says, "that'll be six.... um, eight bucks". Jon gave him the $8.00, but withheld a tip due to what appeared to be gouging.

Is that like Marvin to do that? Or did they raise the prices?
