gothicmom Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Merry Christmas!!!! When I was a teen, ( a long time ago) someone said to me Happy Hanukkah (or however it is spelled). I was all like "um, ok, thanks" What made him think I was jewish? I was working for my cousins who are christian along with all thier family. I believe he was christian too. So I usually say Happy Holidays, to me it's not a big deal. On Christmas day I will say Merry Christmas, on new years I will say Happy New Year. I dunno....I'm starting to ramble so bye!
odims_sphere Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Well said! Be proud of whatever you want. For me I'm not really a holiday person, but telling people that they can't say Merry Christmas is retarded. This PC crap has gone way to far. there is no fun left to be had, everyone is to worried about offending someone. The best policy is believe what you want, and don't deny anyone else the same right and everything is cool.
gothicmom Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I guess what I was getting at is that I say Happy Holidays so it goes for everyone and all holidays. The Dark: Merry Christmas!
