Wounds Within Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 after watching the resident evil movies i have to wonder why anderson still has a job makeing movies <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True, but at least it wasn't as bad as the Super Mario movie.
pharoh Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 True, but at least it wasn't as bad as the Super Mario movie. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh come on the super mario movie ruled! All hail John Leguizomo! His best work was the Pest though :grin
Darque Knight Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Now if Bruce Campbell is Simon Belmont... then I might just go and see it. Otherwise I'm sure it'll be just as good as every other Video Game inspired move... Alone in the Dark... DOOM... House of the Dead... Tomb Raider... Double Dragon... Street Fighter... Mortal Kombat...
pharoh Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Doom was medicre House of the dead blew chunks Same for both TombRaiders Street fighter wasn't bad....but definately wasn't good MK I thought was well done. DD I can't remember
bav Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Why do I fear that Castlevania the movie will be like Van Helsing? Too long and requiring G & T's to get through. Maybe I'll go see this w/ Not-Gay Shaun....at least the G & T's can be accounted for, if not the missing hours of my life.
NickolausPacione Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I grew up on this video game so I am actually wondering how they would do it. I saw Mortal Kombat back when it came out, I hope they do it better than the other game movies. There was a lot to go into the series and hope they combine the Gameboy Advance Castlevania's into it because those were good. The Playstation version of the game actually had Cthulhu.
pharoh Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I wish since there is about 12 different castlevanias that they would make a fighting game version of it with all the characters
NickolausPacione Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I wish since there is about 12 different castlevanias that they would make a fighting game version of it with all the characters <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would be interesting to see -- I want to see a Double Dragon style fighting game made for this series just to see how it would turn out. It would be cool to see. I would buy it in a heart beat. They made the Gameboy Advance installments really cool but it would be interesting to reissue the first three games and the Super Nintendo versions of the game for the Gameboy Advance.
paradox Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 didnt i already see this? oh yea, i did. it was called van helsing! :laughing only, that was better. this dude suck balls. AvP was a fuckin tragedy. house of the dead is a huge steaming pile of shit.
Slept with ghost Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 he didnt do house of the dead that was uwe boel who is also getting the privalge of runnig bloodrayne
Homicidalheathen Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 We think it sounds good. Me and my video game croonie kids heh.
mallochai Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I don't know about the movie, but the soundtrack better be good, or else! I love the castlevania tunes.
cusssedness Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I was never any good at the castlevania games. I always ended up getting stuck and hollaring for my kid to help me get past certain levels. However, I enjoyed the graphics and the music. I hope that the movie is worth watching, but I'm wondering why they haven't announced a cast yet. Also, I am getting rather tired of so many Dracula films recently. It seems like a whole slew of them have been released in the last two years.
SomeDanGuy Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 he didnt do house of the dead that was uwe boel who is also getting the privalge of runnig bloodrayne <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I sometimes wonder how Uwe Bolle is allowed to live after what he's done.
NickolausPacione Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I've beaten the second game in the NES version in a single weekend -- funny thing was I rented the game. Part One -- I can make it as far as the grim reaper. The first game in the gameboy advance version I got all the way to Dracula, the second one -- I am stuck at a certain point. Castlevania IV -- I got to the rotating room. Castlevania III -- I got to the last level but could never get up to Dracula. That is with both the pirate or the wizard. Castlevania the Gameboy Advance versions are hard as hell but really fast. I beat the second one in the original Gameboy twice.
fever blister Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 id like to see a well done legend of zelda movie
Wounds Within Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 id like to see a well done legend of zelda movie <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actaully there was one planned a few years ago, but it fell through. I am not sure if they ever decided to try again or not.
Wounds Within Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Oh come on the super mario movie ruled! All hail John Leguizomo! His best work was the Pest though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll agree with you there on the pest movie. Trust the fungus!!!!
