Aralis Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I get nervous driving in the snow. I hate it. My Interpid gets thru it pretty damn good and doesn't slide around much at all. I just have to be careful taking off at lights and stopsigns. I tend to give it too much gas sometimes and start to slide. I had a camaro when I was 17. That car was horrible. I always got stuck and would do 360's in the middle of a busy 4 lane street by just slowly turning onto it. Scared the shit outta me!
Msterbeau Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I'd just like to point out that the single most critical thing to being able to get through the snow is the right set of tires. Having wieght over the drive wheels (ie. the engine) helps, but proper snow tires are mean more.

Rayne Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 it was fun? wow that is crazy! i slid into a wall last week, that was not fun at all. and it was because of the snow we had last saturday night. hurt me and the car. i really hate driving in snow now! glad you were not hurt or you car or that your kids were in the car either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, it was fun. Ask Phee. I was on the phone with him (headset) when it happened. I was extremely calm and said "Wow, I just hit a pole" and started giggling. I've had my share of hurtful car accidents. Rearended in my Neon by a semi truck at 45, I was at a dead stop. I was not driving. Week in the hospital and I have injuries I have to live with for the rest of my life. My two girls were in carseats in the backseat. They were taken to ER, but unhurt.
