This just in ... I got an e-mail from Andrew Conway today (the dude who wrote the "Bullwhip Book") and there's going to be a "Pirates of the Caribbean III" as well!!! I guess both movies were filmed concurrently with many scenes taking place on Grand Bahama Island (or someplace like that). Andrew also hinted that there will be a pirate using a whip. He got to work with a few of the actors, but an actual stuntman will be doing the whip work and he didn't get to meet him.

yes, id previously heard of the "filming 2 and 3 together" as well. seems to be the popular thing nowadays. everybody has to do trilogies or something. no duologies, no just making one good movie and being happy. its some kinda weird karma thing or whatever..or maybe its just the franchise cash :laughing

as long as they dont fuck it up like the did the matrix.

i find the idea of "monster" pirates (as seen in the trailers) pretty damn cool. as long as they didnt try to overdo/overwrite depps character everything should be ok.
