Fierce Critter Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Every piece of electronic technology around me is taking a dump... Got a Technics 5-disc CD changer. Turntable type, not cartridge. There is absolutely nothing mechanically or electronically wrong with it. It got a stuck CD and it made the drawer go out of alignment. I opened it up to set things right, but the misaligned drawer caused other problems. Mainly the gears that make everything move are now totally out of whack. All I need to know is the correct way to align everything, and it'll work again. I can't find a danged service manual online for it. Just one site charging $20 - I can pay 1/4 of that for a working one at a yard sale. Anyone got a clue how to align these things, or where I can find a copy of a service manual to download or something? (By the way, had NO clue where to put this... might belong in music???)
