:devil With the structure being demolished I wonder what will go in its place, I have no Idea what they will put there but I doubt it will be a new one. A new Parking structure would be nice, but what I heard that by the MGM casino they are building a gigantic parking garage that is going to cover quite an area. But Iam not going to believe anything until I see it built and finished.

The structure is gone ... but the stairs are still there ... it's odd ...

That scared me when I got there Saturday night, no one warned me. I actually thought that I forgot how to get to CC in the year I've been gone.

A stairway to heaven?

Maybe they'll build a brand new hotel, with a brand new City Club, and then tear down the old Leland/Ramada and build a brand new parking structure there. Now that would kick ass! Sadly, that will probably never happen.

I have read a condo, another structure paid for by the MGM, and a couple other possibilities.

Nothing, it will just remain a lot. At least thats what I think. They probably just tore it down to keep the bums from squatting.

If someone wants to go take some pictures, for those of us NEVER GOING TO CITY CLUB AGAIN to see, I'd appreciate it.

:devil They will probably leave it fenced off and do nothing with it for a year or two, when it comes to Detroit nothin seems to get done.

If that were the case, it could be that it was cheaper and fazster to tear downa nd rebuild rather than repair.

Also, a different company may have bought it. Who know?

I agree that it will stand as a leveled piece of land for awhile. Although parking would be nice.
