bean Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Stuck in this cold, dark shell, full of misery and contempt I try to ignore this thing inside. Slowly it poisons me, tries to harm me, cuts me open - makes me want to die. It never leaves, only sleeps for awhile - letting the other side take over. Recklessly speeding towards nothing ruining everything, this side does not care - only follows its whims; slam that drink, snort this line, fuck that stranger. In the end both sides will kill me - this mental straightjacket I cannot remove.

Draco1958 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I had one poem published when I was 16...some day I plan on getting all my works together in a book and hopefully getting it published. thanks! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I met a young lady at Motor City Comic Con a few years back. She put together her own poetry book and was selling it there. I bought it, definitely gothic/dark type of poetry but I'm enjoying reading it. It's the size of a sheet of paper folded in half and has several poems in it. She was selling it for $5. Something to consider.
