mallochai Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 another anna, aka "grace" here. it's funny though, my middle name, marie, is usually translated as "rebel" or "rebelious" but on this particular site, it's "bitter."
Shade Everdark Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Christopher - 'holds Christ in his heart' Wrong on so many counts. Never mind that the actual definition is more like 'bearer of Christ,' implying a more physical bearing of Jesus, but as I've belabored so often before, it doesn't really seem to fit too well with me being an atheist. I prefer Shade - origin: Hebrew, meaning: 'demon'. At least according to a certain old friend of mine. Plus, for those inclined toward the Greek pantheon, Shade is an anagram for 'Hades'.
LuluVox Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 another anna, aka "grace" here. it's funny though, my middle name, marie, is usually translated as "rebel" or "rebelious" but on this particular site, it's "bitter." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Weird, I've always seen Marie translated as bitter. I'm not sure which one I like more. I'm Amanda Marie, so I'm bitter and in need of love, apparently. Odd.

Fierce Critter Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 My name means "Ferocious/savage animal" Alrighty. Enough fooling around. I don't share my real name over the net, but according to several different sources it's origin/meaning: Latin - virginal, unblemished character (ROFLMAO) French - quick footed I didn't bother looking, but I know another supposed meaning is something like, "servant of God". Whatever. I like ferocious animal.
