ManicQueen Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 My mom and I are going to this seminar on January 28th, Sat. morning. Stop Smoking and Lose Weight Hypnosis It's guaranteed or you'r money back. If you're not satisfied by the end of the seminar, they will give back your $$. The first hour demonstrates how anyone can be hypnotized. The next 30 minutes is for people that wanna lose weight. The last 30 minutes is for smokers who wanna kick the habit. All this for $40 at the door! If anyone else is interested in this and/or wants to go together, let me know.
ManicQueen Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 but you won't know the results until AFTER you leave the door.... If you're not satisfied and you get your money back, do they de-hypnotize you to GAIN weight and smoke more? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :laughing silly. I just think it's worth a try. I mean it's only $40 and I don't have anything going on that day anyway. Besides, I've tried just about everything to try and quit smoking so this is just one more thing to add to my list. =) Also, even if I feel it did work, I can still get my money back. So either way, I win!
Homicidalheathen Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 It better be guarenteed because if it were that easy everyone would be doing it.
n0Mad Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Just remember, hypnosis can only take you so far. You have to go the rest of the way. You can't rely on hypnosis to do all the work for you. It's just a tool to help you do the work. You can't quit smoking unless you really want to quit smoking. If your subconcious still desires it even at the smallest level, then it won't work. If you're truly committed to your decsions though (quit smoking, losing weight, stop stressing, etc) then hypnosis can make your journey easier. But it's not a wonder cure that instantly changes you. (Speaking as a trained but as yet unlicensed hypnotist myself.)

I'm not expecting to go to this thing and walk out smoke free, although I'm hoping that I'm wrong. It's just something different that I want to try. Who know, it might just help me in my journey :grin
