crap! the D&Do preview or Wow free trial? Im so undecided =( I don't think I have the free time for both...

Well think of it this way. At least with WoW you know what the game is and will pretty much look like at the begining and end of the trial. With DDO the changes could be very drastic between the beta trial and the actual game itself.

WoW it is......for some reason I couldn't get a key for the DDo preview...oh well. Anyway I got a Wow key and I'm making a character tonight....probably going to be undead warlock....definitely the warlock..hehehe

Lemme summerize:

1) No resting/sleeping for spells/health regen. Only certain shrines can be used around the world to regen.

2) You ONLY get XP from quests. (wtf??)

3) The vendor system sucks. All vendor items are all displayed in one catagory that, also, can only be viewed a few items at a time.

yuck!! That first item goes completely against all that is DnD ...... if they want to keep people interested in thier game I think they better re-think a few things......the shrine idea sounds completely retarded. Even if you don't get full health regen on resting...make it partial at least...lol....and spells should always regen upon resting say 6-8 hrs....maybe 10 -12 for something high level like timestop.

Wow! its awesome!! I don't know why I didn't play it sooner. took forever to DL on fileplanet ( I hate them ) so I didn't get on till about 2am or so.

starting a DGN guild on wow sounds like a great idea........how about on Garithos...its a low population server with no que time, the only thing that might put off some is the pvp server......so if this were to happen I'm open to whatever server everyone likes.....although i'd prefer it be a low pop server because I hate waiting and lag.

I've played enough PvP games in the past that I refuse to play on a PvP server. I don't want to be sitting there fishing, minding my own business and suddenly I get ganked for no reason, yanno? The closest I'll go is a "Normal" server.

I would be down with a roleplaying server.. PvP servers don't really attract me as much as they did in EQ..

The only question is - Alliance or Horde? I could deal with Horde but I'd have to play as undead and they hate all the other Horde races.

i wiped my garithos characters... wasn't playing them at all, they just helped me learn the game.

i've now got a lvl 30 NE druid on feathermoon... though once i get better at the game, i'll move to a real nice pvp server and have lots of fun.

Look for an Inn.. There's usually a mailbox outside of them, it'll look like, a mailbox.. Kinda. Click on it. Yeah.. Lol

I say if we do make a guild we should try to find an Eastern time zone server, preferrably an RP server.

I'm going to start a "Do you play WoW?" poll in the poll forum to get a general idea of how many of us play and if we could get enough people to start a guild.

we don't have nearly enough to form a guild and so far were all fairly low lvl but my friend at work thinks he has scheme to make some cash.....we shall see.

I could list my million different alts but non are over 40th :cheerful . I've been a wow addict since phase 3 beta. Great game and they have added alot of new places since the game went live.

I bought it.....I probably shouldnt have spent the cash....but I did.

Here's an update, apparently the whole dgn guild idea died but... a friend of mine at work started a guild on the garithos server called "Recipe for Hate" which is currently recruiting new members. Now...Garithos was supposedly a low pop server but for some reason has been qued lately, which really irks me...waiting to play a game I pay for is unacceptable.

Anyway, my character is:

undead lvl 24 warlock

I usually try and get on after 11pm most weeknights depending on circumstances.

Died for WOW, but we got a guild on GW....ppl haven't been playing lately though :(

I never really liked GW for some reason (probebly because of the odd magic system). Lineage 2 and RF Online have been my favorites of late.
