Onyx Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I've never had this experience. *peers towards the kitchen* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Noooo! Don't do it! Ouchie! Which makes me wonder - why the hell were all of us chewing on foil anyway?
bean Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Don't do it!! It's ouchie and this is coming from the girl that LIKES pain!
Killer_Bunnie Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 my family tried to get me to do that, one day it kinda worked, but it didn't hurt, just scared me a little because I thought it would be worse than it was, and I have no tollerance wonder what mine are filled with now :blink
Ginevra Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Someone explained it out to me that sucking/chewing on the foil is akin to putting a 9 volt battery on your tounge to see if it still has a charge or not. It has to do with the alkoloids in the mouth and that fillings act as a conducter. So you're actually making a little battery in your mouth when you have the foil in there. Sounds plausible . . . . .
Lilith Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I was taking the foil top off a pudding cup for my kid and it was stuck so i decided to pull with my theeth OHHHHHHHHHH bigg mistake........ did not expect it and did not want it. It sucks and left like a weird tingle in my teath for a few minute afterward.
