Brenda Starrr Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 And I have no idea how to use it. Cuz I'm so technologically brilliant. Advice?
Jarodaka Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Assuming 1) the camera is USB and 2) you have Windows XP, try this: + plug in camera + windows will detect the camera + it might prompt you for a CD. Put in the CD or diskette that came with your camera. If all this goes smoothly you can open up My Computer and your webcam will be listed underneath "Scanners and Cameras."
Brenda Starrr Posted January 20, 2005 Author Posted January 20, 2005 Thanks, Jarod. Luthien.....bad, bad boy!

SomeDanGuy Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Once the camera is actually installed so that your computer understands it, you will also need some sort of program to control it. For example, there are some that publish to a website periodically. Some IM programs will also let you do video with a buddy. I know mine works over AIM.
