Oh it wouldn't be that hard to do (been dyeing my hair for....*counts* 14 years now!) it's just the maintenance.

I personally think the black hair works for you.

I don't care for black hair on about 90% of white people, but you pull wear it well without looking like you're just doing the black hair thing to be more "goth."

I saw a girl with black hair and just the ends (about 3 inches) dyed red. It looked very cool. Would be lower maintenance too. Then if you didn't like it, easy to go back.

(I do this sometimes but reversed, with black streaks through my red).

Yeah, a lot of people suggested chunks/tips/highlights/whatever, but I don't think it would work on me. My hair is so thin I think it would just look streaky and bad. Plus I can't get away with too much at work.
