Fierce Critter Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Brenda's scare got me thinking. I do my own exams, and I kinda follow directions I've seen. What I'm wondering is, how obvious are these lumps? Are they near the surface, or do you really have to dig deep to feel one? Are they real hard, and always pea-sized as I've often heard them described? I am somewhere between a C and D cup, so there's a lot of territory to search & probe. There's no history of cancer in the family (my brother's was caused by inhalants), so I don't have excess reason to EXPECT to find something. But I don't want to miss anything, either.
Brenda Starrr Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 I had to press a bit to find my lump. If it's big, you don't have to press very hard. You can definitely feel the difference between a mass and clogged milk ducts. That's why I was so freaked. Luckily, it's just a cyst. My grandma must be looking out for me.......
