My daughter is leaving....

for the Bahama's this morning. I'm taking her and my aunt to the airport in a few and I'm already having some serious anxiety about her being on a plane. I have issue's with flying myself and having to let her go on one is even worse.

Gawd I hate this feeling. Why can't I be normal?

huggs huggs huggs..... She will be ok and in a few hours she will be having the time of her life if not already. Is this her first plane trip? If it is what a rush for her how exciting. I dont know what to say to make it better but i think any mom might be a bit anxious with her daughter leaving for a tirp like that. Just remebr she will be ok, she is experienceing some wonderful adventures that will stick for a life time. hugs hugs hugs

i don't know but i would feel the same way! i think it is *normal*. you are mom who worries. i think it would not be normal if you didn't. but, you know she will be fine.

I think it's very natural, and I know you know this, but it's so very very safe to fly compared with going in a car or any other method of travel.

Think of all the people you know who have been hurt or killed in a car crash and then think of all the ones you know who have been hurt or killed in a plane crash. No comparison. Once she gets to the airport, she's safe

Mommies worries aren't always logical though, eh? I worry about so many things regarding my children sometimes it drives me nuts.

She's been flying since she was a baby and she loves it. She always gets excited when she gets to go on a plane.

Anyway, her flight went well and she is in Florida enjoying the 75 degree weather... little shit called to rub it in :laughing
