City Club 2/4/06 - Super Bowl Weekend

The official low-down: City club will be open, as will the other two floors (54 and Lab). $8.00 per person gets you into all three areas.

There were signs up last night saying that evening is also "flash for beads". Whatever. I hope that's an attempt to get drunk tourists to make total asses of themselves. :doh

Friday, February 3rd is a special fetish show of some kind at the Labyrinth. Entry at the door is $25.00, but pre-sale tickets are $10.00. At this point, I don't know how you'd get pre-sale tickets, unless the lab is open Wednesday.

Jon and I will be skipping it. Don't care to pay the extra $$, as the most interesting part of going to all three floors on New Years' Eve was being able to see some of the Ramada architecture. And Jon has the pager again, so we're taking the opportunity to save some $ and do some relaxing.

I assume parking will be a bitch, too.

There will be extra parking set up for this event sat. Its across the street diagonally from city bites, or so I'm told. As far as the event in the lab goes, pm me with any specific questions and I'll try and get answers for you quickly.

there will be plenty to do in detroit besides the club. wish i could get those snoop dog tickets for sat at ol tiger stadium. or is it friday. thats close to the ramada wich i'm sure is booked. all those people.

gatta get a good tourist disguise to blend in. thats for sure a full house regulars or not. supposed to snow to. damn i need a good time this weakend and i'm sure to have several backup plans. if anything at least i'm determined to party.

That was before I knew they were upping the price...and I don't want to deal with the parking situation. Man I figured it could be bad this weekend but not that bad.. I need to re-think my plans for coming out there this weekend.

Someone said no street parking, I assume that's because there won't be any room left or are they not allowing people to park on certain streets for the event?

Wonder if it will do any good to get to the club 45 minutes before it opens, maybe I'll get a spot then? What do you guys think? I really need some CC time, it's been about 2 months since I've been out there.

Well I'm not sure yet, as of right now I plan on going, but I'm not paying 25-100 bucks to park my fuckin car for 5 hours. I'll park it 4 blocks away if I have to.
