Hand Cream

I need to find something for my hands. They have become very dry and somewhat old looking. I wash my hand's constaintly at work and I use a lot of soapless hand sanitizers too. Both of which, are doing a number on my hands.

Can anyone recommend something? If all else fails, I'm just gonna go to a dermatologist.

Nivea Renewal Night Lotion is a good one, in my opinion. It's slightly greasy, but if you wear it to bed, you shouldn't have an issue. There's little odour and what odour there is, well, it's quite light. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Some people also swear by Udder Cream and things akin to that as well.

i too have to put my hands in tons of chemicals and such for my job.

i use Burt's Bees Beeswax and Banana Hand Creme.

smells great, is all natural, and does an excellent job.

they also have a bunch of other creams for repairing cuticles and hands.

Burt Bee's Hand Salve. It's wonderful.

Or *if you want to spoil yourself* go to Bath and Body works, and get the sugar scrub, and then some body butter. *droools* Body Butter is swell.

at night i use eucerin or unrefined african shea butter. both are just a little *too* much for all day use so i only use them when i am not going to be doing anything with my hands for awhile/at night.

other than that i use burts bees stuff and like that too.

i have used nivea in the past and liked that but haven't used it in awhile.

bath and body works also have/had (not sure they still do?) anti-bacterial moisturizing hand soap. those kept my hands pretty soft when i used it ... i don't have any anymore.

my daily lotion is jergens - original scent. but i use that more for the smell since i love it. ;) but since i keep up on moisturizing my hands that works pretty well for me though i don't know how well it would work on *really* dry/damaged hands.

Thanx for all the sweet info. I actually bought some Burts Bee's Almond Mild hand cream.. I love anything that smells like almonds so I had to get it. I like it though it's a little greasy for all day wear, in my job anyway.

Friday, I'm gonna go buy the rest of the Burt's Bee's hand products and see how they work.

I've been using this BB's Almond stuff religiously and I can already notice an improvement with my hands but they still have that "old" and "worn" look to them... blah!
