Ok I make this one that is peasoup and hummus mixed but.....I do like jelepeno cheddar spread. Oh and Blue cheese beats Cesear dressing because anchovies are gross. Then again, so is blue cheese.

I love bleu cheese. Not just the dressing, but crumbles as well on a burger or salad.

The best dip though is still one package of french onion soup mixed in with one container of sour cream.

Indeed! :grin

Your right. NO store dip is as good as making your own. Now I know what to get with those Shearers homestyle (the best chip folks) potatoe chips this week.

That is da bomb!!! I loved that as a kid. Haven't had it in a while.

I half expected you to say the best dip is honey mustard.

i like caesar as long as it is anchovie free. and this asian dressing i make. or just basalmic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. recently bought an asiago dressing i like.

as for dips i like resturant ranch. it is always better than store bought. and i like it for fries.

1 can Hormel chili without beans

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese

Heat ingredients together in saucepan or microwave 2 minutes. Stir. Serve hot with tortilla chips.

I'm not sure if I read somewhere that you're vegetarian or not...I don't remember, but if you're not, put this one out at a party and it will be gone in all of seven seconds.

There is also the spinach dip which I make, but has yet to find its way out of my house. YUM!

The Chili and Velveeta cheese one is really good too. Made just like the above, just with Velveeta cheese instead of cream cheese.

Home made Spinach Dip.

You use the veggie soup mix, and some mayo.

YUM!

mmm spinach dip, and roasted garlic cheese dip.

:devil First I have to cut the cheese before I melt it. LOL!!!!!

I am hungry. I know it sounds strange but.....if you have a protien source such as beans or cheese and/or beef.......or chick peas.....and a vegetable.....and you put it on crackers.......you could just live on dip and dippers forever.

And I would be ok with that.

My neighbour makes an awesome one ...

Cream cheese

Garlic

Weschester sauce (I soooo can not spell that)

and dried beef

mix it all together.

omg ... it's awesome on Club crackers.

first heat up 1/2 a cup of milk in a soup pan

slowley add sliced chease in stiring and melting it in probabley about 16 slices

till you get a nacho chease consistancy

pour into a bowl before it cools off

add 3 pinhead drops of daves insanity concentrated hot souce(carefull it's very caustic and if left on skin will burn and will damage any soft tissues of the body on contact). very easy to over do it.

stirr in the hot souce and serve

what you get is the most feindishly addictive dip ever. before you can consider if you like it or not you'll find yourself eating more and then more. till it's gone.

no one can stop the insanity

no one can stop this bath of blood.

it sucks cleaning the pan but well worth it

Jon and I are ranch fans, too. Especially on fries.

I prefer spinach dip without onions, but with plenty of crunchy little bits of water chestnuts. Gads, I love that texture.

I like velveeta melted in a small hot pot with a can of Ro-Tel tomatoes & green chilis and a can of Hormel chili sans beans (or with for a change).

Kroger makes a damned good French onion dip.

I'm particularly fond of dill dip, especially on cut veggies.

I'm a big dip fan. I am generally a healthy eater, but I prefer the stuff I eat to be dripping in something, whether it's dip or dressing or gravy. I try to watch my fats otherwise, to make allowances for that kind of stuff.

spinach dip- me too. hate it with onions but LOVE it with the water chestnuts. it is so great.

velveeta - i like it mixed with salsa and melted. that is so good.

dill dip- i love dill dip too. also, nino salvaggio's has this dill potato salad (it is just red skinned potatoes with dill - so good. otherwise i HATE "traditional" potato salads)
