My Favorite age generation 26-38

Exactly. One of my best friends is only 16.

Granted, when she was younger, and even now, I take better care of her than her own mother ... but still.

On the other hand, one of my other really good friends is nearly 40.

Age is no really big thing to me.

i have friends of all ages but the people i primarily hang out with are between 25-34. i think i am pretty much within that age range because a lot of the people i hang out with are people i have known from school and then some of the people they knew from school too (which is how i really know the people younger than me- i am 31) the majority of my friends i still know from school are 1-3 years younger and only some are exactly my age or a little older. the only older people i really hang out with are my mom's friends and they are late 40's early 50's. they are just as fun to hang out with as my friends, sometimes even more.

I refuse to associate myself with those under the age of 18, knowing that I have a nasty mouth, a nasty sense of humor, etc...Not that I am against anyone under 18,...I'm sure there is a ton of very intellegent and Mature 17 year olds out there....I just won't even GO there....

Plus you never know with all these cases going on......."Underage" stuff....

But I have friends I can relate to from ages 18-62+.....

Maturity is definately a factor..... I know people that are in thier 50's, and still have to make sure it's OK with Mother to ____________ fill in the blank....

I also know 18 year olds that own homes, have better jobs, and education than myself. People that are the same age as me, 26, act like they are still 16! And then there are some that act like they are 50 and always in pain, or retired due to pain and injury and thus act like they are retired......

It's life expirience. Not so much age.

I LOVE old people. Like, 70's and up. I get along with the elderly so well. I'd love to hangout in nursing homes, convents full of old nuns, that sort of thing.

But, in general, most of the people I know are through DGN, so it's mostly people in their early to mid 20's. I really don't know anyone outside of DGN because I was just too much of a loner for my whole life to keep friends around for more than a couple years or so.

I get along with all age groups. I just can't deal with people who are too terribly negative. My patience for that has seriously waned. It's also why I'm sort of isolating myself right now, because I'm depressed & therefore negative, and I loathe inflicting myself on others.
