Morbid Side Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 He is a has-been. He needs to go shoot some more heroin in his veins and maybe get some more botox done. Weiland is no Axl, but when I saw the King of the Jungle one year at the MTV awards and his god awful sounding voice it was ashame to see a man who once had the GnR fans eating out of the palm of his hands now forgetting about him indefinetly.

kellygrrrrrl Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 You know about 2 months ago I heard 2 of his New songs on the new album that is supposedly going to be releasing soon on that talk show that took over Stern.....Um....can't think of it.... Anyway, I actually dug it. Sounded like old school Axl I liked it..... I cannot stand Axl though.....so If I end up with that on my ipod, it will be because I borrowed it from someone else.....and uploaded it.... haha................LOAD
Mikielikesit Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I like the music appettite for destruction is one the best albums ....it cranks
Steven Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 in their prime, G&R ruled the strip and did it better than anybody. There hasent even been a legitimitly dangerous band since G&R - and there have been no bands with that much raw talent always teetering on complete self destruction....they brought back that badly needed Johnny Thunders vibe. I miss that raw intesity, back when "heavy" had nothing to do with a dropped D tuning and super satan lyrics. We still need G&R in rock and roll. G&R WERE fucking rock and roll. Before that you'd have to go back to Aerosmith (the chemical days) for that same vibe...not even Motley had it...I love Motley, but they never possessed the degree of talent that Guns had. and I'm sure that Axl will still draw huge crowds if he ever really does get back in the game - he has that kind of staying power. But the new G&R suffers from one major thing - polish. His band(s) have all been world class players. But you dont need that for the G&R sound - for the G&R sound you need world class attitude and nuts of steel.
Wounds Within Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 You know about 2 months ago I heard 2 of his New songs on the new album that is supposedly going to be releasing soon <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep this is true, when I was on my way to LA to visit friends. I heard a few new GNR tunes on the WRIF while I was hitching a ride to Metro Airport. Then I arrive in LA and everyone out here is telling me that Slash is back with the band (to replace Buckethead). I found this hard to believe although I heard this from many friends. The next day the radio stations in LA were playing the songs and the radio dj's also say that Slash is back with Guns N' Roses, of course this has not been confirmed, but both Slash and Axl will not confirm or deny any of this, so I guess that tells u something is up.
BillyDeath Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 I say Slashj and Gilby wear the shit. there is GNR without Slash. :devil

BillyDeath Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Has anyone seen Axl's Face? It is all plastic. Too super ficial to me. He also needs to lose the football jersy's. Axl dressed cool when he did the Appetite For Destruction album, thou. :devil :devil :clover :clover
Homicidalheathen Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 I always hated him, and the band. But I knew someone who knew them and he said they were 'A' holes in person...... I just thought they copied others really. Axel had a great voice, I hated that he started singing in that raspy style, you should hear him REALLY SING.
DarkVampire Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I don't know what women saw in him, in a sex symbol way. He was ugly. Good voice but ugly.
