Target actually carried something like this at Christmas this past year but it was in the shape of Spongebob Squarepants. I don't know if the heads popped up or not upon defeat like the original one.

I'm also a speed racer freak. I have a miniature remote control Mach 5 and a minuature Shooting Star (Racer X's car) and a couple of large scale collectibles.

This was my all time favorite toy as a child... i had the Avenger version.. which had red stripes and used infrared "lasers" . if you shot a friends avenger it would shut down... kinda like playing laser tag but with more imagination... I think they came out in 75 or 76
