Who would you want to plan your wedding?

Odims and I would *love* to have Tim Burton to do ours. His tux is going to be the suite from "Nightmare before Christmas". Or we would do the outfits from "Edward Scissorhands" or "Bettlejucie". You can tell that we are going to have a serious wedding, when we do finally get married.

So who would you like to have?

At first I thought, "no way in hell I want anyone but myself planning/designing my own wedding". But I get the spirit of what you're saying. So in a fantastical sense...

I'd love a dress by Zandra Rhodes. Just one example of her work:

Bridesmaid dresses by Betsy Johnson would be too sweet.

As for everything else, I haven't a clue. But the Tim Burton idea is a damned good one.

Of course, I'd love something full-on medieval. Jon and I were basically poor peasants when we wed, so though we did ours in medieval dress, it was peasant style. I'd like something more upper-class.

Let's see...Julia Child, may she rest in peace, would do my catering. Her flan with Dulce de leche would always be welcome in my home. Calories be damned! I LOVE her recipes. They ALL include butter and cream and delicious lard. God bless that woman.

And drag queens. Lots of drag queens. They'd plan my outfit, and my wig and the centerpieces and everything about the wedding. I want feathers, bitches! And mother fucking sequins! If you don't sparkle or molt, get the EFF out of my wedding, bitches!

As it stands, however, I won't be getting drag queens OR Julia Child. Bugger. I WILL however, have an ice cream truck. Yum!
