I seperated Sprint from Nextel (sort of) as they use slightly different technology and they still advertise the IDEN Motorola's as "Nextel" phones. Boost actually buys their time from Nextel towers and Virgin uses Sprint towers. Att&T no longer exists, it is part of Cingular now.

So basically there are only 4 mobile providers in the U.S. but I split things up to offer more choices as far as this poll goes.

Please vote, it is important.

NO DO NOT GET CINGULAR TED .. me and Jarod both have cingular and well its SUCKS ASS!!!!!! ..... Ive heard wonderful things abour verizon =)

I first used Sprint PCS in 2001 to 2003.

Then I used T-Mobile from 2003 to 2005.

Then I used Cingular from 2005 to current.

I cancelled Cingular last week and I am going back to Sprint.

Cingular really nickles and dimes you. I was paying $60 for what I can get on Sprint for $40 a month. Cingular charges 20 dollars a month for unlimited mobile internet....WTF? With Sprint it is only $10 a month and with T-mobile I was only paying $5 a month for unlimited mobile internet!!!!!!

Cingular claims that their edge technology is faster so they charge more but there is no real difference in speed.

I also think CDMA technology (sprint and verizon) is better than gsm (cingular and t-mobile) but if you do alot of traveling to other countries then gsm is the way to go.

I was very, very happy with Sprint.

I had them since 1998.

I switched for my own reasons, nothing to do with them.

really?

hmmmm

here is the sprint plan I just signed up for

400 anytime minutes

unlimited nights and weekends and nights start at 7pm to 7am

unlimited data and sprint mobile television

50 text messages per month

$45 a month

I think that is pretty good.

Here is how cingular tried to rape me:

400 minutes plus unlimited nights and weekends (nights were 9pm to 6am) $40

unlimited data $20

MobiTV $10

all text messages were 10 cents each

free mobile to mobile

rollover minutes (mobile to mobile and rollover were the only good things about cingular - THEY SUCK)

total = about $70 a month

My t-mobile plan was the cheapest, about $35 a month but they do not offer any television channels on their phone!

I use smoke signals and skywriting

in the Uk they have 02, orange, Vodaphone and T-Mobile. I judge them by what football teams they sponser. Vodephone is on the front of the Manchester United shirt but 02 does Arsenal. Tough choice you see.

I have had so many cell providers in the past. My first was Ameritech (before they tuned into Cingular), then I had ATT, then I went to Sprint (whom I had the most problems with). Then went to Nextel (before they merged with Sprint). I now have Verizon and I do have to say out off all the providers I have had in the past it is the best thus far. I never get dropped calls and always have a service.......even out in BFE.

I love my T-Mobile. No problems so far.

I've had T-Mobile for 3 years... no problems yet and they just gave me a pink Razor!

cingular go phone. when i first got it though it was at & t. i had sprint and was not happy with it. i like the go phone. i am not sure if i am more happy with "cingular" or the "go phone" as far as i know many companies have "go phones" now.

sprint sucks my ballsack like a two-bit whore.

I'm using virgin mobile since it uses Sprint's service area which is really nice. Used to use Cingular and Ameritech. Service was ok but they didn't want to offer deals as good as other carriers. A friend used Sprint but they would never send him a bill and then would shut his phone off.

I had that problem with Sprint the first 6 months I had it ... but I'd call them and they'd credit me my bill ... i didn't have a cell bill for the first 6 months because they kept crediting me.

Then they started sending me bills and I had to pay them. LOL.

I use Nextel with a nextel phone.

i use my cell phone like 2-3 times a month, tops. since every contract phone i had was still way more minutes than i used i went and got a prepaid Tracfone a year (plus) ago. For anyone who uses thier cell regularly, it prolly wouldnt work. but for me, its just fine.

Ok so Cingular called me and convinced me to stay with them so I will remain with Cingular.

If you knew my number before, it is the same. If you want my number, get it off the women's room stall at CC tonight.
