I had three different windows open, wasn't paying attention, and I could see the flicker when it changed and out of the corner of my eye I could see the green quite well. It looks convincing when you stare at it, but not so much at casual glances where you can totally tell it's programmed.

(sure, the movement is programmed, but none of the rest of it) if you doubt this, i can give you an experiment to try with a piece of printer paper, right where you are, that will do something similar. (without the movement, of course...)

How could the program tell where and when you are looking? (not sure if I'm saying this well)
