Head Wreck Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 i'm looking for cheap places to stay. any sugestions hopefully not in a too rough an area as being the asshole i am i tend to insult some by my mere presence.
Head Wreck Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 hopefully around may 20th. Cliff and Sarah (well, sarah) invited me allong to thier wedding, i thought a week stay should get me to meet a few people i've been itching to meet since the date on the side there <-- and a few newbies too
phee Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 You can crash at our place (Me and Rayne) if you don't mind kids everywhere
Head Wreck Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 may well take you up on that. just to save cash, but if theres somewhere within my meagre budget (around £1000 before flights insurance etc.). also, do taxis charge extortionate amounts like they do here (and reason why i'm sober when i'm out due to being self designated driver)

Brenda Starrr Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Maaaan.... I wish I could be in town to meet HW.
Head Wreck Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 might be other visits brenda if this all goes to plan. good news is i found out that the US has extended the period in which you can use older machine read passports without a visa. so less £ and paperwork. current worries are: health insurance (my dental cover is worldwide, but health is still on NHS) travel insurance (maybe get a deal on both) accomidation costs (includes taxi's, food, etc.) spending money (club entrance fee's, drinks, other nicities) last time i checked (when the wedding was announced) the flights (from london to detroit direct) were £400 - £500 currently have £800, plus if i cut down my over indulgent spending manner i belive i could add an extra £150 this month and another £350 at the start of may. maybe a bit more as i have no need to comute 40 miles a day for 2 weeks (around £20 in diesel) tempted to get a credit card tbh incase i need more cash and pay it off before interests start
saechalyn Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 :woot: !! Woohoo! Headwreck is invading the US!
Brenda Starrr Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 might be other visits brenda if this all goes to plan. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay. I feel better now.
