Onyx Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 The Secret Garden (The one from 1993). I love it, every single second of the movie. I need to go watch it again tonight.
The_Dark Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Cleopatra (1963) is really close to the top of my list... not sure what really tops it. then again... Kunoichi Lady Ninja is right up there on the list too. "I could sully this review with details, but instead I will tastefully sum it all up in three words describing the most potent of feminine attacks, the "nipple shock wave.""
n0Mad Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 The Princess Bride. It has everything: "Fencing, fighting, chases, escapes, torture, revenge ... true love" Kid: "I guess it doesn't sound that bad. I'll try to stay awake." Grandfather: "Thank you. Your vote of confidence is overwhelming."
Hellion Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 :devil I will at least name one of mine,Space Balls.
Killer_Bunnie Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I've always been torn between army of darkness and Jason and the Argonauts

CandyQuackenbush Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I know this is weird, but its a cross between "Sound of Music" and "Edward Siccorhands". Depends on my mood, and how long I want to be infront of a tv.
DarkRacer Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Hmm, favorite you say, I think mine is Maximum Overdrive with Emilo Estevez HELLS BELLS!!! :devil :devil :devil :devil :devil :devil
Fierce Critter Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 No one favorite. But my faves include: Little Big Man Swashbuckler 7th Voyage of Sinbad Horror of Dracula (Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing) Star Wars Defending Your Life (Long story...) Beetlejuice Edward Scissorhands - up until the kids drive up in the van. Then everything starts going wrong and I HATE IT. Robin Hood - Disney cartoon version What Dreams May Come Airplane! Gay Purr-ee Close Encounters of the Third Kind Harvey Being There Poltergeist I'll quit now. :grin
sass_in_the_pants Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 The Birdcage - the one with Robin Williams, not the French one Flawless Both fed my obsession with drag queens. Never you mind what that says about me, they are GREAT. And, the only non drag queen related favorite movie: Fargo If it didn't have the funny accents, it wouldn't be nearly as captivating.
cptdeath Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 i really like heavy metal and the second one is cool i love terminator 2 too but i got to go with army of darkness (i memorized it)

Killer_Bunnie Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Not many people seen this movie. I own it though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I grew up thinking everyone had seen it, I don't think I know one person who hasn't. then again I thought that more people would know about several movies I grew up on watching over and over.

I own the original VHS from when it was in a cardboard sleeve and not the re-release in the clamshell case. I bought the original DVD and also the special edition DVD. I also own the paperback novel and the 25th Anniversary Edition novel, plus the screenplay. I've listened to the book on tape, but don't own it ... yet. Yeah, I'm just a wee bit obsessed.
