I love it, every single second of the movie. I need to go watch it again tonight.

Cleopatra (1963) is really close to the top of my list... not sure what really tops it.

then again... Kunoichi Lady Ninja is right up there on the list too.

"I could sully this review with details, but instead I will tastefully sum it all up in three words describing the most potent of feminine attacks, the "nipple shock wave.""

The Princess Bride.

It has everything: "Fencing, fighting, chases, escapes, torture, revenge ... true love"

Kid: "I guess it doesn't sound that bad. I'll try to stay awake."

Grandfather: "Thank you. Your vote of confidence is overwhelming."

I know this is weird, but its a cross between "Sound of Music" and "Edward Siccorhands".

Depends on my mood, and how long I want to be infront of a tv.

Hmm, favorite you say, I think mine is Maximum Overdrive with Emilo Estevez

Little Big Man

Swashbuckler

7th Voyage of Sinbad

Horror of Dracula (Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing)

Star Wars

Defending Your Life (Long story...)

Beetlejuice

Edward Scissorhands - up until the kids drive up in the van. Then everything starts going wrong and I HATE IT.

Robin Hood - Disney cartoon version

What Dreams May Come

Airplane!

Gay Purr-ee

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Harvey

Being There

Poltergeist

I'll quit now. :grin

The Birdcage - the one with Robin Williams, not the French one

Flawless

Both fed my obsession with drag queens. Never you mind what that says about me, they are GREAT.

And, the only non drag queen related favorite movie:

Fargo

If it didn't have the funny accents, it wouldn't be nearly as captivating.

I grew up thinking everyone had seen it, I don't think I know one person who hasn't. then again I thought that more people would know about several movies I grew up on watching over and over.

Pretty much everyone I know has seen it and if they haven't, they will. I own the original VHS from when it was in a cardboard sleeve and not the re-release in the clamshell case. I bought the original DVD and also the special edition DVD. I also own the paperback novel and the 25th Anniversary Edition novel, plus the screenplay. I've listened to the book on tape, but don't own it ... yet.

Yeah, I'm just a wee bit obsessed.
