Due to an impending court trial, I need to dye my hair a "normal" colour this week ... this has been fun while it lasted ... and nothing says I can't re-dye it later when this is all over.

But in the meantime ...

Yup, red is the best shade for you with your pale skin and blue-green eyes :o) Don't forget to do a good red-based protein filler treatment before you color so that the dye absorbes evenly.

Red would look fabulous on you, however I voted brown because it is the easiest color to get right and also will be much easier on your hair to color over, no stripping needed unless you want to go way lighter.

Use a temporary so that you don't have to strip it out. I suggest red - it will very easily wash out in just a few weeks.

I think it's bullshit that we're judged by our choices in haircolor.

Good advice there.

Red. :wink

I voted blonde. I've never met you. And I mean platinum blonde bombshell blonde. Blonder than Barbie blonde. Maybe it will look terrible. Maybe you'll be smokin. I just think it's a balls out color and I happen to think it looks great.

True enough, but society's standards and acceptances are still present whether we like it or not. My mother was/is of the belief that anyone with long hair and/or tattoos must be inheritantly evil . . . until my brother grew his hair out. Then she had to alter her opinion slightly to at least accept him into it.

I understand that. I still think it's bullshit that people aren't bright/mature enough to see people for who they are and not whatever color their hair (or other parts) are.

I'd really like to slap the person(s) who started that whole "normal" and "professional appearance" stuff...

Indeed. I would REALLY love to go in front of the judge with blonde, purple and pink hair without even a second thought ... but I know better. *sigh*

for court, dye it brown, black hints at being goth,as does not natural colors, and dyed blonde just wouldnt look right. Brown is the most "normal" you could get.

Keep it rainbow and wear a wig :wink

What a great idea!

Why didn't anyone think of that before?

I'm slow.... :confused :laughing

I went with a blue-black. It's great. I'll get pics up tonight or tomorrow.

I figured black would be the easiest to cover all the colours ... and I can still have like a purple or something put in with the black when court is over.

Isn't it true if you dye your hair enough times it will fall it and spiders will lay eggs to hatch in your scalp? :grin :fear

:devil It's like society is telling you what you can do for yourself,I think a natural looking red would look good.my opinion

... I got tired of red. My hair was ruby red for so long ... it's naturally like a brownish red. So I decided to go with black this time at the request of some. I like it. It's black ... but bluish.
