Hellion Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 :devil I certain cases ,I think that when some a--hole screws you over, that there should be severe penalties, depending on the offence. For example: someone steals something from you, that they should get the shit kicked out of them.or you steal something from them when you get a chance.Don't let anyone walk all over you and littterly get a way with it.My opinion.
Hellion Posted March 6, 2006 Author Posted March 6, 2006 i beleive in revenge, that count? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :devil YES!!!! :devil
soothsayer Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Do you mean something like say suppose someone you dated is trying to ostrasize you from a group of friends by trashing your reputation with complete malice. Then lies to you when you ask them if they're doing it and then tries to blackmail you to keep your mouth shut about their dirt and after, oh say, a year of being nice towards them you say 'fuck them and their bullshit" and you give them a taste of their own medicine? Is that what you mean? Edited for grammer not content.
honeymustard02 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 That's it exactly!!!! kellygrrrrrl Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 No. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Someone stole from me...a friend, I found it, and knew it was them...I had valid proof.... He came to my work one day. I said I know what you did...and said my peace. He left crying, and feeling bad about it. That was more than I could ask for....I think Guilt, and remorse for the things you've done can be punishment on it's own. The mind is a dangerous place. I hope his concience (sp?) is burning still to this day... I hope he thinks about it every once in a while and feels guilt. I've never been a vengeful person but I no longer talk to this person.
Msterbeau Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Some people believe in astrology Others believe in technology Some people believe in all those "ologies" But I believe in swordfish He believes in swordfish I believe in Happy Days I believe in Joanie Loves Crotchie I believe in all that TV crap And I believe in swordfish He believes in swordfish Came up from the ghetto with the help of my stiletto Every day I hear the people groan: Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own We may be doing something wrong We could be running a little too long I guess we better end this song I say I believe in swordfish He believes in swordfish
Crazed Vampyress Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Why get mad when you can get even... and if your version of getting even is stealing back, then so be it. if you prefer to get even by letting the other party feel guilty, thats fine too. but i definately support the idea 'turnabout is fair play'
JaneDead Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 a long time ago i would have plotted against people who "wronged" me but never actually did anything. it was fun to think up nasty ways to get them back even though i never acted on them. now when something happens i don't feel that way at ALL. i just address the situation and see if something can be worked out with the person or i let them go. maybe they are not worth being in my life in the first place. vengence is negative and negativity is way too powerful. i won't let negativity ever have power over my life again. if they deserve anything for the way they act or live their life, they are going to get it. but not by me.
