So I was looking through online personals for for entertainment...

Someone was looking for their "sole mate".

I guess in a sense that's also correct but..... :doh

she and i got into a railing argument over the spelling of tyre once. it escalated into the calling of wittnesses..

I don't find those to be as much of a mispelling as just phone lingo/shorthand.

But a mispelled word is mispelled regardless - I think. There are different ways to spell many words (i.e. color = colour *HW*) but to type something incorrectly it's still not correct. Sometimes shorthand takes the reader a tad bit longer to figure out what was meant. I dunno. :laughing

Don't mean to over analize the subject. :doh

:devil I know friends that seem to spell the word peasenov;(peezenoff,or peesenof,or what everLOL) But I also have seen alot of mispellings in Yellow Book too.

meh, i'll play the dyslexic card. only decent dyslexia learning material is american stuff... so how does that stop a load of dyslexics spelling like a bunch of americans anyhow?
