Kitten Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 so yea, i broke my left middle finger tip yesterday morning at work, had to set it an then goto the clinic which irridated it an told me it was quite broken an that i had set it perfectly.... now i hate being useless an need to get back to work asap (machine building) i'm going to try working today but the pain is so intense even with the motrin 800's i dont think ill be able to stay.... any suggestions on things to make it heal faster would be appreciated
AstralCrux Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 silver is known to have healing properties.... however i suggest wearing any rings on the fingers that aren't broken...
Der Nister Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I had my right palm impaled by a rusty nail and lost the use of 3 fingers on my right hand for about 10 days. All I can say is, go as easy on the broken digit as you can and let it heal on its own.
n0Mad Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Windex. (Those of you who've seen "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" will get it.) Drink lots of milk.

cptdeath Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 it will heal faster if you don't use it for stuff like work and jus let it be. i would make a splint if you don't have one from the doctor.
cptdeath Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 oh yeah, if your doctor seen the x ray and did'nt give you a splint and only gave you a motrin 800 script i wouldn't go back there
