kellygrrrrrl Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Thursday nite is "80's" nite.....which ends up being pretty fun. I wish they would axe the 80's dancer's though. It reminds me of a highschool talent show or something....and it takes up too much time..... it's like everyone has to stop what they are doing to "watch" the dancers dance. I don't know....I'm lame like that.
MarsDustDoug Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I love Luna. the music is a very nice change from the ebm barrage of CC. AND they play some nice old industrial mixed in with some great 80's and even a top 40 track here and there to keep everyone happy. the bartenders are fun and they make a damn good drink. They always have a little dance show on satrudays too.
Nerdcore Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 lol@ tue the were playing some missy elliot botay music :confused :doh :erm
MarsDustDoug Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 lol@ tue the were playing some missy elliot botay music :confused :doh :erm <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hehe I LOVE when they drop something really wierd like that. Was there once and they played Gwen Stefani after Ministry very rarely have I seen people stop danceing when things like that happen.
Chris Rohn Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 There was a 6-week or so period a couple of years ago when peple kept asking for Toxic by Britney Spears. Outkast's "Hey Ya" was huge for months. The Gorillaz "Feel Good Inc" and "DARE" are just now wearing out their welcome as the pop song of choice. Variety is the spice of life. A pop song at midnight here & there shouldn't kill someone's club-going experience. Also remember, if you don't like what you're hearing, request it! Requests and the response to them can influence the vibe of a night more than you think. And if you don't like to be interrupted by dancers, you can always come out to Luna on a Friday.
