PWEI- Pop Will Eat Itself

For those who are a fan of Pop Will Eat Itself we got soem bad news last month.... the reunion that was starting to become reality has been canned. They still have a new project in the works though. I LOVE these guys and all the changes they made to their sound over the years was really interesting. Before ebay was a viable option (early 90's) I collected every album they made and alot of 12''s. Im pretty sad to never get a chance to see them in their original form

While I don't really care if they reunite, I was a big fan of them in high school. I used to think Wise Up Sucker was really cool and that one that went "it's a lovely day I love you! when i'm lookingin your eyes, you tell me nothing but lies" and rough justice and a bunch of their other songs.

Wise Up Sucker was a great album! Even though it was their last Dos Dedos Mi Amigos will always be my fav. the tracks were just so well put together and the sound just filled out so well.

hehe I remember when they played the video for Ich Ben Ein Auslander on Beavis and Butthead. I think I shit a cat.

atleast we have a new project to listen to. Hope it pans out
