So when can we get a dgn skate/bike/wheeled apprartus outing>? Id be happy to organize but I'm kinda of in Lansing and I doubt you guys will drive. Anyone up for it? Ill be happy to come down on a saturday or something and we can skate maybe hit the club after or something thoughts? TLs
pharoh Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Any time I tried rollerblading, it felt like I had shin splints and could only do if for a short time, I would love to get back into it though, just don't know why I had them pains
Marblez Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Any time I tried rollerblading, it felt like I had shin splints and could only do if for a short time, I would love to get back into it though, just don't know why I had them pains <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Prolly because it takes extra leg muscles to keep the side to side balance. It wuld probably go away with experience.
TheLordShaper Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 Another successful trip out on the skates aside from kittykahtkat almost dying from heat exhustion. I'm proud of this accomplishment although I ruined all the exersize with icream but damn it was a hot today. TLS
BrassFusion Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I used to skate all the time in high school, but the past few times i tried it I had the same problem as pharoh. That was before I started working out, however... hmm... maybe i should break out the skates again...
cptdeath Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 so just out of no where i went to mephistoes for spooks birthday. well the bartender was this really hot chick who was part of the detroit roller durby team. yeah cool huh she was talking with me about hiring my buddy as an official, cause he can do crazy tricks skatting. but roller durby sounded cool and i allways wanted to find out more about it. like how to see a match live
TheLordShaper Posted July 15, 2006 Author Posted July 15, 2006 OMG.... this hurts. So today as cut very short when I decided that I could easily skate over a bridge that I have biked over many times before. Not so much... I kinda learned that umm if i fall backwards and my skates goes forward I kinda end up doing the splits. So when your groin hits the concrete first you have an issue. Had I not pulled my hamstring in my left leg the groin thing might have been debilating but in such the hammy, took my mind off if andd put it firmily on.... owwww..... some one shoot me. TLS
TheLordShaper Posted July 16, 2006 Author Posted July 16, 2006 Graviety sucks my balls? Fricken gravity... This still hurts TLS
BrassFusion Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Friction is your friend! You know, as long as it's between the soles of your shoes and the ground. Cuz other than that it's your enemy.
TearSandrille Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Graviety sucks my balls? Fricken gravity... This still hurts TLS <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought I read *gravity sucks... my balls hurt*. Heehee. What happened to those mad skillz.
