anyone ever been to convergence?

I was at the one in toronto.... im not going to say anything more than rediculous.... and there is much more to do in toronto when you get sick of the sillyness of convergence.

but knock yourselves out, after my experience in Toronto, you would not have to do too much to impress me with improving "convergence".

I had a lot of fun at c10 in Chicago. I took my mom there for Mother's Day (heh). She loved it. I went shopping with some DGNers and Black Tape for a Blue Girl was excellent, along with the rest of the music. It was a blast, really.

Getting on a school bus filled with gothy looking people was great fun too. I tend to enjoy silliness and gothic cheesiness though. I really want to go again.

I've been to C7 and C10 and had an amazing time at both.

I went to C5 in New Orleans back in 98 I think it was. It was a fun time all be it I wasnt prepared for it nor was I feeling to friendly. I did however get introduced to a lot of great bands and got to see clan of xymox and CXS live. CXS was amazing as always and before they where huge too.

Convergence is fun but the detroit bid is well ummm.. pathetic but fitting for detroit I guess. Doesnt look like the committe put any effort into it, just "hey lets get drunk and BBQ" which is kewl but not really convergence.
