If at all possible, please tell your friend that a lot more cats out there than just kittens need homes, and they can be every bit as adorable.

I acquired my Kiri as a stray, even though I wasn't looking for one at the time, and she is an absolute darling at six years old.

The HS shelters... they get kittens. It is a bit pricey sometimes but you save a kitty from dying =) not to mention the older you get them the cheaper they are at shelters. Most of the time they come with all of their shots up to date and/or neutred or spayed .. that alone will save her =) I mean If you adopot a female kitty for 50$ and she is spayed you have already saved money =)

that's how I got Lilly, she was a stray kitten too. Now I couldent bear to not have her around.

my kitty Monkey is adopted, I got her at 5 yrs old... she was already spayed with shots, so yeah that saved me like $75 if I can remember right from last time I had to get that stuff for a cat. And they're only a 'kitten' for a short period... I hate to say this, but some people that are only looking for kittens get bored of the animal after they've grown out of that phase, and that's where a lot of the animal shelter pets come from... Your friend may not be like that, but I just wanted to state that sad truth. Just know, those pets at the shelter are some of the most loveable and loving pets in the world. I wouldn't trade my lovely Monkey girl for anything...

only with me ... He HATED everyone else, except for mommy. He was a very spoiled brat ... me and sweetie have been thinking about getting a feret ... because he is way allergic to kitties =( I mean we went to the HS shelter to look and within 10 mins he was fucked for the rest of the day. Ive had a feret before they are really cool animals =) So we are going to go look

Ferrets are ssoooo cute! They look like stretched-out kitties.
