I'm with Phee and Mark on this... If you're going to post that you're disatisfied with DGN, at least give some resonably clear examples of what they are and why they piss you off. Otherwise your complaint just comes across more as chaff then the productive discussion you're seeking.

TA... although I generally agree with your philosophy most of the time, I think the example DerNister cited is a resonable one. DGN is not the local online pickup spot for goths. A little time spent scoping the site would have clued him in on that.

true, but some people are really excited when they find a new online forum, and jump right in without spending much time perusing first. (did that myself on my first discussion board - felt kinda sily afterwards, but live and learn, right?) my point was more along the lines of that being a "newbie" post, and not representative of "months" of "stupid dumb shit"...

True, but that is hardly a way to impress women. I'm willing to venture a guess that most of them would be turned off by "hot guy seeking hot girl" type posts. Rather, if you participate on the boards and let them get to know you as a person, then that's far more impressive.

Then again, I'm a guy so I have no idea how women think. Opinions ladies?

Can you be a little more specific? What kinds of things irritate you? As I said.. it's all fine and good to let us know you're not real happy with some of the content here... but if you want to see improvement (And I assume you do..) then you really should give examples. The examples don't neccesarily have to call attention to specific people.
