SomeDanGuy Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Well, it's Saturday at 6pm and I'm drinking alone. That's a sign of alcoholism, isn't it? To be fair, it's because I just received in the mail a pocket breathalyzer. And I need to test it to make sure it works before leaving feedback on eBay. I could sure use 't3h s3x' tonight........oh man, I'd better edit this post soon......
torn asunder Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 eh... for me, it was a sign of boredom...
fallennon Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 You're not drinking alone...it's Saturday night and I'm drinking alone with you. But for me it's due to lonelliness...
gothicmom Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 I'm eating alone. Does that count for anything? I guess it does since I have an eating problem.
gothicmom Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Depends on what you are smoking! edited due to the fact that my kitty felt she need to rest her head on the keyboard!
Fierce Critter Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I'm alone, and I just finished a whiskey sour. No problem.
Brenda Starrr Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Dammit, I can't drink. The kids are home.
JaneDead Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 i don't drink. well maybe about once a year. i actually just had a bit of wine on friday at a wine tasting/b-day party. i have always hated wine but i liked it friday. that was probably the first time i drank in a year? maybe? maybe longer. the last time i was "drunk" was about 4+ years ago. when i lived in arizona. my in laws had some vodka and i mixed it with some v8 and i was not "alone" but i was the only one drinking. and then i had to just go to bed. i was so drunk. and then i woke up with my first and only hang over. ouch. i like being drunk- but i hate drinking. and it is too expensive. and i really hate how most of it tastes.
SpidersMoment Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I'm underage so any comments i make are iiiiillllegal. But anyways, i drank alone the other day. But i wasnt technically alone since was talking to people on IM and then shortly afterwards on the phone. Just wish i had more.....only about 3/4 inch left of everclear. *tear*
mallochai Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 I think it's best that I drink alone. I don't think I've been drunk in the company of others in which I have not bit someone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i lived with a guy like that. his twenty first, he left giant welts on pretty much everyone who was there while he was in his black-out stage. hehe, then last year, he bit some stranger, a girl, in the dorms and got kicked out because of it. i think he's trying to recover
fallennon Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 After my meltdown I think I need to cool drinking alone for a while...lol
Brenda Starrr Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 I rarely drink. When I drink, it takes only 2 to make me the loose, wild, hot chick my husband married.
Head Wreck Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 to make me into the old me it takes.. 8 double JD's one after the other, half a bottles worth of absinthe, and a mug of majic punch (the punch alone does cause the heart rate to double)
Hermine Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 That's a sign of alcoholism, isn't it? It can be. But then I don't drink, so I'll bow out. </wetblanket>
TheLordShaper Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I unfortunatly am hitting the bottle by myself this fine evening. It's been another of those fun filed weeks and a bit of scotch is slowly helping me unwind and get back into my weekend freak mode. Can't wait to have some drinks tommorow night at city club where being social might actually do me some good other then being overally nice to people on the web and excessivily playing with the cat. ~TLS
