my dad STILL tries to tell me i will get a cold if i go out with wet hair. i never believed that one, not even as a kid. i wonder why he still thinks that?

A lot of people believe that one. The truth is that temperature change, not wet hair in the cold, is what makes you sick. If you continuously go from warm to cold and cold to warm your immune system becomes weak. At least that is what I was told.
