Detroit Pistons

So I know that basketball isn't exactly popular in the goth world but to my suprise, several of the people here on DGN that I've spoken with offline do watch the Pistons on occasion.

I am not a goth, just a fan of the music, but I grew up playing basketball and I am a lifelong Piston fan who felt the agony of the mid 90's teams and the ecstacy of the NBA title last summer.

Who else is a fan? What do you think of their chances at winning again this season? Who are your favorite players?

I would think that even if you're not a fan, it was fun last year when they won, considering the parties that went on that night (in Hamtramck everyone poured onto Joseph Campeau) and the Parade was fun, in general I think it was good for the psyche of the community.

I think basketball is one of the most boring sports, that and baseball. We are hockey fans over here!

baseball and basketball are my two favorites. i only started to like basketball last season. it really is not "boring" if you watch it. it really is fast paced and intense. baseball on the other hand, yeah- slow and boring but that is why i like it. a nice laid back sport.

the worst is football. football is so boring and so slow and so annoying i can't even tolerate it.

Wings all the way! Never got into basketball, but I'm not sports oriented and they don't fight (well basketball fights lead to more penalties than hockey fights). Baseball is only fun if you're in the stands with lots of drunk people doing the wave and crazy dances.

I'm not a huge fan of Basketball, but I have watched games and I did think it was cool they won last year. I'm more a hockey fan - but look how thats turned out. So, I've settled on watching local hockey teams.
