Phee just picked him up from the airport and they are enroute here to Ypsilanti. I have to go get out of work clothes to go meet them for dinner.

There was a minor crisis at work today and I was not able to go get him as planned, but thankfully Phee was able to.

Just wanted to let you all know his flight arrived safely.

Most likely we will be at the club tonight, tommorrow there is a wedding, and.... so making plans that evening... yeah... a bit difficult

wait, am i seeing that hw might not be at cc saturday night? :blink dood... how soon might we know? i really can't afford more than one long trip this week, so i need to decide on sat. or monday night... =( ok, guess i'll just keep my eye on this, and the other hw-plans threads...

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
