A nice way to say this to someone

:devil This one dude at work has breath so bad that it could make paint not only peel off the wall,but also make an outhouse smell like roses.

Does anyone have an idea on how to address it without hurting anyones feelings.

I have no idea on what to say,He is a very cool person,very nice,but his breath is death warmed over.

A lot of the time when it is that bad, the person has a dental problem.

If you are pretty friendly with the guy, maybe just go ahead and tell him "Excuse me, but I have noticed that your breath has a bad odor. You might need to see a dentist. Sometimes bad breath means you need your teeth worked on."

Maybe he doesn't really need to go but that will let him know that it's a problem and that others can notice it too.

Hopefully he will take it well without getting angry.

I had a girlfriend who had really terrible breath, but she took great care of her teeth. Some people just have a problem like that. Maybe just casually share a stick of gum with him if you see him. Or cinnamon candy. I like candy =)

But they can always say no, even though they probably should.

I like Big Red since it actually kills the bacteria that cause the bad breath. I chew a peice and my mouth tastes all nice and clean.

At the bar a lot of people drink and I usually tell them "I'm sorry but you need a mint" and most are cool about it. If they give you any shit about it though just have some breath spray and when they open their mouth just give them a sprits of it.
