Spelling Errors on DGN

Am I the only one who notices the attrocious spelling on DGN?  Maybe I'm not the only who notices but perhaps no one cares?  Am I reacting too harshly?  I mean, someone spelled "your" while trying to say you are for the 10000000th time and I jumped off my roof and landed on my head in the cement.  Is that a normal reaction?

Now, I probably make the occasional grammatical or spelling error, but it's usually because I type too fast and accidentally hit the wrong key.  And know this: When I've caught my own errors I take a bath and drop electrical appliances in the tub with me as punishment.  That could kill you.  So don't do it.

I remember a specific quote from you at Necto about this very topic (spelling errors on DGN) but I should probably refrain from posting it.

It's just that, you know, like when we're talking about politics or religion and someone doesn't know how to spell most of the words they are typing, it does make me (perhaps wrongly) think that the person isn't as educated as perhaps they should be to be talking about said topic.

For example, can you really debate world religion and theology if at the same time you would fail 3rd grade spelling?

But really, I only care because I have nothing else to do and I am an intellectual elitist and the most intelligent person in the history of the Intraweb and I look down on everyone elses lack of mental acuteness.

I never said the spelling mistakes don't bother me, I'm a copy-editor for crying out loud, pretty much every single misplaced punctuation mark makes my eyebrow twitch. What I said was regarding threads devolving into insult-fests.

If there was a thread on DGN and it did not violate any DGN rules but you didn't like the thread would you simply not read it or would you go into the thread and announce to everybody that you didn't like it and call the website worthless because of said thread?
